Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: It was resting under a light on the wall of our local Fire Department. It was warm out. The moth was a female. I was unsure of its identity. I believed it to be a pale Promethea, so I took it home to get a better look at it and research it in the morning. I noticed, when I awoke that there were three eggs lain overnight near her. (They did not hatch)She died that afternoon.
