Observation notes: Attracted to porch light in rural residential neighborhood dominated by hardwoods (liriodendron, maple, oak, sweet gum). Both photos of same moth; photo with measurement taken 2 hours later at different position, hence the different lighting. WS is at least 24.5 mm, measured with wings held at slight angle and not flat as seen in first photo; in flat position WS would be slightly greater. Note dark mark near apex, and brownish tinge to outermost subical spots.
