Observation notes: this moth seemed to some how reflect the color that it landed on, being lighter or darker to match the surface it landed on. eight thousand feet level juniper, pinion pine, sage (great basin) desert near nevada paint brush, large yellow flowering shrubs lupine calif fuchsia . great place for stars and moths lots of moths attracted to led lantern and florescence lamp. grand view campground. haul your own water. very dry scattered clouds mostly clear sky. they said they had light rain a few days prior and heavy early summer rain.
