Observation notes: Weather conditions were relatively cool out and it was just starting to rain. I found this monarch sitting in the middle of the jogging path at Hancock Park (at the Tar Pits/Page Museum). It was not flying and seemed to be struggling to move around (mostly stumbling around on the sidewalk). I managed to scoop it up onto a leaf and then onto the nearest flowering plant I could find.
