Observation notes: Two very small Celestrina among 25 much larger individuals of that genus (the C.l.marginata were about half the size of the larger Celestrina or a bit smaller than that; these two individuals had a dark wash on the ventral surface unlike the other Celastrina present; this was was specially evident along the outer margin of the ventral surface; the pattern of the spotting ventrally was high consistent with photos of Spring Azure, form marginata, depicted in the Glassberg ButtsthruBinsEast guide [plate 23, number 4]).
