Observation notes: I am not positive on the I.D. at all, as this is my first attempt at mothing. I am using Peterson's Field Guide to Moths, and this is the closest ID I can find. There are many Maple, Birch and coniferous trees on the property which are all hosts for the Lesser Maple Spanworm.
