Observation notes: Not sure an ID can be made. Suggestion mostly based around the potential for a wintering but I could be totally off base as well.
Came to the porch light and would not sit still, always walking around about the light on the underside of the attic/roof area. First photo was a big crop because they came down for just a second and got in the photo of another moth.
