Observation notes: Walking slowly along a FSR, this moth crash lands on the side of the road by a large stone. Managed a couple of pictures, it took off and again seemed to crash land about 3 ft from where I stood. Second picture not great, but didn't want to scare it off again. Hot sunny day, slight breeze, low '80's, about 3.30 PM. Found the same type moth 2 Km distant about 10 minutes later, have the picture, and it is poor, low angle, but definitely the same type moth
