Observation notes: This butterfly was sighted flying behind my home on a beautiful sunny, windless day. It flew around for about 15 minutes before resting in the grass. This gave me the one and only opportunity to take this picture, which I am now sharing, as not long after, it was gone and I have yet to see it again.
