Observation notes: Habitat: lawn with numerous trees and shrubs adjacent to patch of mixed pine-hardwoods, thickets, wooded ponds, clearings; in residential area. Conditions: temperature probably about 60 degrees f. (extrapolated from having checked temp about 30 minutes earlier); mix cloud and sun, faint breeze. Also present at same spot at same time was a Red-banded Hairstreak.
