Observation notes: LOTS of these at Gonzaga Bay. Seemed to like going north and TOWARD the salt water. When I sprayed one with fresh water (trying to rehydrate it), it "freaked out". No birds seemed interested in this abundant food source. Many dried carcasses on the beach. They were ALL crawling on the sand, nowhere near any plant life.
