Observation notes: Seen on ground, occasionally flying short distances. habitat: residential area of town, w/ patches of mixed pine-hardwoods, ponds, thickets, clearings. Oaks (red, white, and water) present; flowering plants, including dogwood and plums. Conditions: morning, sunny, warm, wind.
