Observation notes: afternoon. These (looked to be same species, from what I could see) were numerous, flying from grass or other low vegetation. Habitat: edge of disturbed patch of mixed pine-hardwoods in residential neighborhood that includes patches of woods, thickets, ponds, clearings.
