Observation notes: Hog Canyon Trail outside of Sprague, WA, 3 butterflies flying close to ground and also flying twirling in the sky, 50 degrees, 12:45 PM, windy, partly sunny, 3/4 into trial strting at entrance near Fullsom Ranch near Fishtrap Camp ground, in field with rocks and flowers, buttercups (that is what they kept landing on, lomatium 2 kinds, dandeline, buckwheat, spring graber, flowering current, grass widows,at 2 PM I saw 2 more 1/4 mile into trail as it goes up the small hill same flowers, etc. but also prairie stars and a yellow bells
