Date notes: My 10 yr old son sighted this beautiful catapiller in our backyard munching on some weeds very near the house.

Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: 1.5-2 inches, green body with two prominant black stripes down back with some tiny green spots showing through the black in a consistent pattern. Two yellow strips on theoutside of the black strips withorange dots in each segment along the yellow strips. Horn on tail end. See pics. It is a windy partly cloudy day. Host plant is common weed, but I do not know its name without research. Not noxious by NV standards.
