Observation notes: I was told the moth had not moved since mid-morning. It was attached to an exterior wall of the house. The day was overcast and there were heavy showers in the early evening. The location is a residence right next to the ocean.

Coordinator notes: Hyalophora columbia - Columbia Silkmoth rather than H. cecropia due to lack of orange band in wings. They do not feed so do loaf a lot. It may fly away during the night. SG
