Observation date: June 24, 2017
Submitted by: Christian.Nunes
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: A single Hops Azure was seen on my cultivated hops bines. This is the first time I've seen the species on what are known hops cultivars, versus the endemic wild hops that is found in the region. The location is ideal for the species, in the flood plain of the North St. Vrain River.

Coordinator notes: Correctly identified by the observer. Interesting how these things can find new host sites isn't it? A few small populations in the foothills are use lupine also. Mike
