Observation notes: Photo taken of Hobomok Skipper (thought possibly a Zabulon Skipper, but wings are more rounded?) on Purple Plume Thistle in meadow in Southwestern Lawrence, Kansas. It appears, right across from it, there is another 'critter' (possibly a crab spider?), which I didn't see with my naked eye at the time. Only noticed after examining my photo, so not sure what was happening there? Weather: Approx. 77 degrees, 45 % humidity, gentle breezes, sunny day. Size: Approx. .5 – .75"
