Observation notes: At about 3000 feet elevation; above tree line on an exposed ridge of brushy dwarf birch about 1 foot tall. Also present were Labrador tea, blueberry, crowberry and numerous wildflowers. Partly cloudy (thunderstorms) and about 65 F. Light breeze.
