Observation notes: In a residential garden in Louisville, Kentucky crawling very quickly across Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) being grown in a dense patch. It was moving rapidly across the foliage and not feeding. Has a red "face". So photos are a bit blurry as a consequence. May have fallen onto the milkweed from a tree above. Did not note tree species. UPDATE: I found out that the tree above is a Sycamore. So perhaps this is the Sycamore Tussock Moth caterpillar?
