Observation notes: I have been noticing holes in my red hibiscus buds. I checked today and found a hot pink caterpillar was right on the top of the plant with its mouth in a big bud. I looked all around the leaves under the caterpillar and saw large pink gooey masses along with pink and white castings. I looked around to see if there were any more caterpillars but I didn't see anymore.
