Observation notes: There were a few flying along the wooded trail. I'd been told Resaca was a good place for this species, along with some other cool butteflies. Unlike the Mexican Yellow, (also present) these were full yellow on VFW. Uploaded photo of what appears to be female in winter morph with lots of pink along FW edge. The Mexican Yellows don't seem nearly as yellow and seem to have more overall blush on the VHW during the winter season.
