Observation notes: Attracted to building lights - Unnoticed in field, was photographing female Io Moth at the time. Only saw it later when working on night's photos on computer (hence sketchy quality composite image)

Coordinator notes: According to MPG, several Aethes spp including A. balaoghi, A. patricia, and A. seriatana are extremely difficult or impossible to separate by surface markings. They should perhaps be considered to represent a photographic species group.
