Observation notes: I am not a very knowledgeable person when it comes to entomology. It was a very humid day. it had been raining for most of that mourning and later that day. we were walking up a trail that leads to a gate guarding the river that leads to "La Represa" there were various other species of butterfly but none were as still as this. it appeared to have just finished eating and was standing perfectly still on the leaf of one of the many trees in the area. I assume that much in the same way the others did this one had been feeding on the various types of wildflowers and fallen fruit that littered the area.
