Date notes: Habitat was top of grassy hillside with some eucalyptus trees on Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Fremont, California.

Observation notes: Grassy hillside was composed mostly of annual European grasses (oats, brome, barley, fescue etc.) possibly on serpentine substrate. The creature did not appear to flit around much.
