Observation notes: Same site where possible photo was taken 10 days ago. there were a few other typical-looking Satyr Commas around. This one stood out as brighter, more orange-red and a thicker, darker band on hindwing with the gold spots inside the band. I couldn't get a good look or photo of the underwing. I'm going out on a limb here. in sunny gap in riparian habitat. Both photos are of the same individual.
