Observation notes: Plus 50°F, warm and sunny, little wind. One of a half dozen I have seen near the intersection of Wolverine Lane and La Rue Lane north of Fairbanks, Alaska, over the a weeks time. Never seen more than one at a time. They land, spread their wings as if to warm themselves but will fly away if you try to get to close.
