Observation notes: This Ceanothus silk moth flew into our lighted garage at about 5:10 am May 3. After photographing it, my husband gently put a piece of thin cardboard under it and then carried it outside to a bush outside the garage. We live in Santa Cruz county, Los Gatos town, in the Santa Cruz mountains. Dry weather, elevation 1700’
