Observation notes: 52 F and partly sunny. I would estimate this moth to be 8-10 mm long (15 mm WS) but I could not get an actual measurement because it was very active. Coursing back and forth over a small opening in aspen forest with last years grass stalks and primrose stems. LOTS of moths flying around, though I only saw a couple of these orange ones. I was not able to get a photo of the dorsal side as it only landed in this posture that I observed.
