Observation notes: Large caterpillar. Longer than my index finger. Moving quickly. On sidewalk in front of small market. Lots of trees & grass near markets. Flowers for sale on sidewalk as well. Light rain.

Coordinator notes: This P. ficus likely hitched a ride from Florida, perhaps in the goods being sold at the Fairfield, CT outdoor market where this picture was taken. So far as I know (and MPG sighting data confirms this), P. ficus doesn't occur in CT. JRains
