Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: I noticed this moth just after lunchtime, on the shady exterior of our house. We did not disturb it, and the moth remained in the same location for at least 5 hours. We grilled out on the deck near its location, and about 8:00 pm, we realized it had gone. I had taken a picture for identification when I first saw it early afternoon. It was a sunny day, the moth was in the shade and protected from wind.
