Observation notes: Rested on black light illuminated house wall in the evening. Identification by DNA barcoding BOLD-3MQT9GYW7 (match with 2 Diatraea grandiosella disregarded because they are uncertifed specimens and that species lacks the two narrow gray bands across the forewings). Length of moth ≈18mm.
