Observation date: July 29, 2018
Submitted by: Lisahug
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: along shore of desert lake. This one really stood out as being smaller than other Wood-nymphs that I have been seeing. It makes me think that the one I just submitted from the White River near Ely might be a Common. Limited time so only one photo.

Coordinator notes: Without seeing the upperside, I would say sthenele based on the landscape. I am not sure what subspecies. Carsonensis? paulus? There are no living Nevada butterfly experts.
