Coordinator notes: Hi Sally, This is (again) Edith's Checkerspot. A males is courting the female above it. I identified this from this same area several months ago (sighting #1153721). In reply to my inquiry as to a more definite location, you gave me GPS coordinates which was in the Mill Creek Drainage, approximately 8 mi. West of Virginia Dale. Perhaps a different picture but the same location of your other submission? If this is the same report, I'll send it thru anyway. It is only three days later than the other dated May 30, 2018. I reported this to the Lepidopterists' Society Season Summary for 2018 as a somewhat eastward range extension. Mike
