Observation notes: Although this was the first sighting of this particular butterfly on my lanai (patio) I just witnessed another Agraulis Vanillae coming out of his cocoon this morning! Plus, I have seen two additional caterpillars nearby that match what I think the agraulis vanillae looks like. I also witnessed three or four empty chrysalis!
