Observation notes: Nectaring on Nevin's Barberry (Berberis nevinii) at the Bernard Field Station. Drasteria ochracea is common at the field station, where their are a good number of its host plant -- Blue Elderberries (Sambucus nigra ssp. caerulea), but I've only ever seen them flying and sitting on the ground. It was interesting to see one nectaring.
