Observation notes: Observed nectaring on the plant in the image. Mexican Yellows were also observed on this date nearby. Suspected of being Boisduval's due to uniform color of fore and hindwings without prominent background patterning, and having only slight angle to hind wing without a prominent tail. Dorsal pattern seems to fit images observed in Glassberg's Butterflies through Binoculars The West and online.
