Observation notes: Found along the banks of the headwaters of the Russell Fork River. We collected the specimen in a butterfly net, took into the science lab to get photos, and then released near the capture site.

Coordinator notes: Based on location and flight date this is likely Appalachian Azure which is all but indistinguishable from Sunmer Azure. Would be helpful to know if Black Baneberry is in area.
