Observation notes: Seen near water and lots of wild grape in Embudito Canyon in the Sandia Mountains, among lots and lots of Painted Ladies. A much less skittish insect than the Painted Ladies are. Saw four of them in different spots along the creek. Seems a little west of its usual range.
