Observation notes: I noticed lots of these around the yard, so I followed one and found a dozen or so (that I could see) around our lilac bushes! We were driving down the highway nearby a couple days ago and there were heaps of them flying across it. Haven't noticed this many for a few years. We grew some for school, so I recognized them right away. Warm day, about 27 degrees Celsius.
