Observation notes: The scent Gland makes this a male The Taxonomic Report By Ken Davenport of Yosemite Page 39 gives excellent examples of dorsal color consistent with these individuals hot day lots of biting fly's these were on buckwheat in early am disappearing in hottest part of the day and also missing in afternoon. Odd behavior These were only in Close proximity to Oak Trees for a short time in mourning. Missing the rest of the day.
