Observation notes: Late morning on a hot day in the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve in Los Angeles, primarily coastal sage scrub, but including riparian areas with stream and lake habitats. Spotted this small Ceraunus Blue Butterfly on a White Sweetclover plant. Fast moving, did not remain still for long.
