Observation notes: Midday on a hot day in the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve, primarily coastal sage scrub, but including riparian areas with stream and lake habitats. Spotted this medium sized Butterfly patrolling a grove of oak and other trees close to a small stream.
