Observation notes: An Edwards' Hairstreak at Carter Preserve. The post-median band on the hindwing is composed of circular spots, although not the most discrete spots ever (but within the range of variation). The marginal blue spot is capped with a fair bit of orange and extends inward further than the adjacent orange spot. The post-median band on the forewing has a final (costal) spot that is smaller and hooks inward.
