Date notes: Found this crawling on our dog's bed on our back porch that is adjacent to heritage birch trees and a stag horn sumac. It is easily 2.5 inches long. This is the first time we've seen anything like this caterpillar, and we've lived here many years. We'd appreciate knowing more about what it may be.
