Observation notes: Caterpillar measured 40 mm in length. 2 rows of white dots on either side.
Found at about 600 meters in low shrub area interspersed with a few last spruce.
When I blew on it, it curled up into a ball and remained in that position for 3 minutes before uncurling and continuing on its way.
