Date notes: Visiting Marsh Fleabane flowers and eggs laid on Slough Sedge. Allen Trently located this species and showed it to us. Life skipper for me. The ray touches the back of the very rounded wing.

Observation notes: Allen Trently located this population of Dukes Skippers last year. Bart Jones and Allen Trently assisted in my seeing and photographing one of them at the same location where the Dukes was previously seen. It is very rare in Tennessee.
