Observation notes: Found on driveway in Guilford, CT, which is near Long Island Sound. It is on my child’s hand. It was about one inch long. Driveway has grass alongside, but we have a weeping cherry and a weeping beech nearby.

Coordinator notes: S. ornithogalli often closely resembles Noctua pronuba, the European Yellow Underwing. I'm pretty sure this is the former.
