Observation notes: I have been visiting an isolated waste area filled with mostly castor bean, buckwheat and telegraphweed that attracts many smaller butterflies. Today I spotted a black and white beauty that I have seen, but been unable until now to photograph. It seemed to be slightly smaller than the other Skippers there and did not land with wings folded, but open. The antenna had a drooping spoon-like club that resembles a Duskywing's.
