Observation notes: National Catahoula Wildlife Management Preserve (Kisatchie NF). Conditions: somewhere ~63F.; variable sky; light breeze. Habitat: gravel road through pine forest at edge of hardwood creek bottom (Arundinaria cane present). Butterfly flying up and down road when not at rest in sun after cloudy morning.
